In many cases your headshot is your first impression. On your business card, your website or your social media site, it’s important to put your best self forward! Your headshot should be a representation of your brand and your personality. Pick a photographer who’s work you like and someone you feel comfortable with. The best headshot photographers will be able to make you feel at ease and capture a great photo of you no matter how nervous you may be.  Before your headshot session, make sure you talk to your photographer about your business and your ideal clients.  A good photographer will take the time to get to know you and your personality, which will help create great business shots you can be proud to share with your potential clients.

MJ came to me needing headshots for her new business as a skin care consultant.  It was important for us to show her beautiful, youthful skin in the best light.  MJ has a great smile and although a little nervous when we began our session together, I helped her relax and find the confidence inside to make some beautiful, strong and approachable headshots.
