What I love most about my job is seeing my clients’ families grow. I started photographing this beautiful family when they moved to Colorado a couple years ago and were expecting their 2nd child. This is the 3rd session I’ve done with them and they’ve become a like family. Parker has so many awesome locations to photograph families and I’ve been able to get creative with each of their sessions to provide unique galleries of images to choose from. Last Fall we went to 17 Mile House Farm which has the best of both worlds…vintage farm buildings with beautiful paths and huge trees which turn a gorgeous golden yellow in Autumn. Mom, Jennie has a great eye for styling each and every one of her sessions. In fact I’m thinking of hiring her as a consultant for all my clients!
But, it’s not all about the location and the clothes, it’s the smiles and family interactions that makes a great family picture. These two LOVE their kids and it shows in each session we do. So let your hair down! Play with your kids and laugh with your teens. It’s the unposed image that will help you remember these days and cherish each year.
