On a chilly February day at the Denver Colorado LDS Temple, Spencer and Tiffany made wedding promises to each other to last forever. Their family and friends gathered together and greeted them as they exited the temple doors after their sacred religious wedding ceremony. Spencer and Tiffany had just arrived in Denver a day or two before their wedding from Oahu, Hawaii where they both attend college and where they met. Several months earlier Tiffany’s brother set them up on a blind date and Tiffany says, “we just clicked from there!” Not many couples would trade Hawaiian balmy breezes for the brisk Colorado air, but it was important for Spencer and Tiffany to be surrounded by family and friends for their celebration. In fact when Spencer proposed, he involved Tiffany’s family and sent her on a ring scavenger hunt during Christmas.
This family wedding had so many great details that I LOVED and a few surprises a long the way. The Denver temple with a nice fresh blanket of snow was the perfect backdrop for Tiffany’s gorgeous wedding gown and her deep purple bouquet. I loved their fresh set of footprints in the snow as they walked out to the front of the temple for some couple pictures. The wedding reception at Maggiano’s Little Italy continued this family affair with toasts and good wishes! My favorite part of the evening, was the father-daughter dance. Tiffany and her Dad had a little surprise up their sleeves for their guests. Tiffany is a dancer and choreographed a fun and lively dance which had everyone in laughter and tears! After that, everyone was in the mood and the party began. There weren’t too many guests in their seats that night. I felt truly honored to capture this amazing day for Spencer and Tiffany and wish them the best in their journey together!
